Durham, NC
Trinity Park; Hanes Field
Trinity Park (right) was the first athletic field at Trinity College (Duke University) after it relocated from Trinity, NC to a former fairgrounds in Durham, NC (note the fairground’s racetrack that remained on campus several years). Trinity banned intercollegiate football from 1895-1919 and did not play UNC again until 1922. Their second field, Hanes Field (left), was also a home to the Durham Bulls from 1913-1925. UNC only played on East Campus 5 times.
